Titan - South Carolina

My husband Mike and I recently got the opportunity to select an American Tamaskan puppy from the Kodiak / Zora litter at the end of September 2015. All of the puppies looked so beautiful and precious in their pictures, but the one who really stood out to us and captured our hearts was Balto! We immediately knew that he was the one for us.

We changed his name to Titan.

Danielle kept us up to date during the process with how Titan was doing, posted videos of him with his litter mates on YouTube and also sent us pictures of him, which we greatly appreciated. We were so excited beyond words and could not wait to pick him up and take him to his new home!

We decided to pick Titan up at the end of October 2015 instead of having him flown out to us. When we arrived, Kevin and Danielle greeted us right away and Titan was running around playing with a few of his litter mates. They have a very large, beautiful property.

Before we left and Titan said goodbye to his litter mates, Danielle gave me a hug and they gave us very helpful information on taking care of puppies, their dieting, making sure that we keep up with the vaccinations and checkups with our veterinarian, etc. They are very passionate about what they do, work very hard day-in and day-out and sincerely care about the well-being of their animals.

On our way home to SC, Titan was a little nervous leaving all he knew to go with two strangers, but he did very well and did not get car sick at all. He took a nap for the majority of the drive, but when he was awake he was very affectionate and such a little sweetheart!

Once Titan arrived to his new home, he explored a lot. He followed us around everywhere and in less than three days he already retained a few basic commands, mastered the stairs up and down and was walking on a leash without trying to eat it. He had less than a handful of accidents in the house, which was not bad at all - He's a puppy, it's expected. When he needs to go outside for potty time, we have trained him to hit a strap with bells that we have hanging on our door knob to let us know.

Titan has a very calm demeanor and is very happy and playful. He is a fast learner and is so smart. He loves running around and playing with us in the yard, going for rides in the car, going into pet stores, even the vet, meeting new animals and people, laying out around the house or outside taking naps near us, chewing on his toys and going for walks / runs with us. He is such a beautiful runner and keeps us going. He loves food and meal times are his favorite part of the day.

Titan is constantly turning heads wherever we take him and people will always stop us and comment on how beautiful he looks, how they love his calm temperment and how obedient he is. Titan is everything we hoped he would be and more- We are truly blessed! He is the perfect addition to our growing family and we are so proud to be his new parents!

Danielle and Kevin, it was very nice to meet you both! Thank you so much for taking such good care of Titan for us, for all of your help and for continuing to stay in touch to check on Titan's well-being. That means a lot to us. We are so happy with him!

Thank you,
Diana & Mike
