Tyson - Washington

It was about a year and a half ago that my husband discovered the Tamaskan breed on the internet. We liked the description of the breed personality and the wolf like appearance. After further searching we found Blustag in North Carolina. We contacted Danielle and were able to set up a visit as we wanted to meet the dogs in person and see what the kennel was like.

When we visited we were able to spend more than an hour playing with and looking at their different dogs. Their kennel and dogs were beautiful. They have clearly invested a great deal of money in their kennel. The fencing is secure, the dog yards enormous, and they even have a little "house" in each dog yard with air conditioning. Another aspect I liked was that I didn't feel like Danielle or Kevin were trying to "pull a sales job" on us. Needless to say we left a deposit in order to be on the wait list.

A couple of months later we were able to pick from a Molly, Riley litter. All the puppies were beautiful. Danielle spent time on the phone with me answering my questions about the different personalities of the puppies. Based on her information my family made our choices. We got a male puppy named Tyson. We flew Tyson as we live in Washington state. He arrived clean, healthy and worm free.

Throughout the process Blustag was always responsive to my questions and that didn't stop even after we got the puppy to our house.

Tyson is a beautiful dog. He is smart and sweet. He loves to swim and play with his sister, a black mouth cur whom we rescued and is considerably smaller. He is wonderful with our children. Despite being an energetic breed, Tyson is laid back, which is just how Danielle described him.
